World Class Contemporary Art London Exhibitions

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

You’re seeing more and more visitors coming away from these venues, super ecstatic. And the thing is, is that the contemporary art London exhibitions over there, are truly ground breaking; you’re seeing some of the contents of these shows for the first time ever. And a lot of the venues themselves are noteworthy. It’s true that there have been venues like this before, in the city; but now, what you’re dealing with are a new breed of things; you’re seeing new things in these shows and exhibits that haven’t really been attempted before. You can read up about the details of these shows on the web, where you’ll find a lot of details about the shows, and the particulars that went into producing the show. You’re basically getting a world class experience with these shows and venues, which is always nice to see. You’re also getting a first hand look at some of these artifacts.

An Original Gift Idea for New Home Owners

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

It’s not always easy to find a unique gift for your best friends who just bought a house and invited you for a house warming party. An obvious choice is traditional things for the house, such as linen or outdoor lights. These things are fine but they are boring, not creative. However, there is an original gift that any new home owners would love and that is very creative at the same time, it is an inuit carving.

Inuit art is an excellent decoration or even a center piece for a living room. If your budget is high enough buy a large Inuit sculpture, for example a 10 inch tall dancing bear or a big loon. Your friends will love their gift. Not only it will make their living room better but also it will serve as a conversation piece. Every time they have guests over they will surely get many questions about their beautiful Inuit art.

New York Central Park Shot

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

I found this photograph on the internet and fell in love with it immediately. It was taken by UK photographer, black and white photographer M A AndrewCentral Park, New York

Apparently, this photograph shows New York’s Central Park. Check out his website for more brilliant New York Photographs. I would really like to visit New York City one day and what I love I about the internet is that you can do that virtually via sites like this.

I am thinking about taking up photography as a hobby and buying the new Canon 550d DSLR. It comes with an 18 megapixel camera and full 1080 HD video. Some of the video clips on Youtube are fantastic. The sensor is basically the same one that comes with the more expensive big brother – the Canon 7D. The problem is that although I can afford the camera at the moment, I can’t really afford any lenses to go with it!
