This weekend I am probably going to go into the city and go shopping. I think I will drag my poor husband along with me since I need his opinion on things, and I am hoping that he will pay for my purchases! What I need is, a few nice tops – that is, to start off with. I have gained some pounds over the last few months and now my old clothes no longer fit as nicely. I also want to buy a nice dkny handbag for myself. I need to replace my current handbag since I think that is too slouchy and soft, I am looking for something that appears stiff and formal. I also want to buy myself a large tote bag to carry my laptop around in. also, I want to buy a small clutch bag to take with me when I go for dinner or drinks.

Sunday, January 16th, 2011We women love shoes, if you saw inside my wardrobe at my 500 plus pairs of shoes, you’d faint, I promise you, it’s a joy to behold! I have every type of footwear or shoe you can think of! Which is why when I found something new that I didn’t yet have, I had to leap at it!
So what was this thing that I didn’t have? Well it was a pair of sequin pumps! I was walking in the street, window shopping as we women just love to do and I saw some sparkly red sequin pumps! I had to have them! So I went into the store and bought them. As soon as i’d paid for my pumps, I saw 2 more that I also knew that I just had to have. I immediately whipped out my husbands credit card and purchased some blue sequin pumps and some black sequin pumps!
That was one of the best days of my life! I don’t regret it one bit and I just love wearing them!
I fully intend on wearing them as often as I can. I’m going to wear my blue ones for work. I think they will go extra well with my business power suit down at the insurance broker! I just can’t wait to stride into the office while wearing them, all eyes on me!
I’m going to wear the red sequin pumps for my next shopping trip, I think I should stay away from that shop though, as it’s clearly going to slow the rest of my day down.
