Adding Closed Circuit Television Cameras Helps Protect Our Latch Key Child
With my son entering middle school, my wife decided it was a good time to go back too work full time. That meant that my son would be home alone after school for several hours before my wife and I got off of work. We decided to add an extra layer of security to our home by adding some CCTV kits to our current home security system. We added a camera at our front door so our son could see whoever was ringing the doorbell before answering it. We also added a couple of cameras in the living areas of the house. The best part for us has been the ability to view the cameras from our computers at work. We were able to monitor our son’s activities when he got home from school and he quickly learned that we knew whether he was doing his homework or not. The addition of cameras has given us the confidence to know that our son is safe even though we are not there to protect him.
